JLG Forklift Parts - In the late 1960's John L. Grove, with his wife Cora embarked on on a cross country voyage in their RV. Newly retired, after spending many years working with his brother to build their crane business into an industry leader, John had no idea that momentous trip would permit JLG Industries, Inc to emerge. The world leader of mobile aerial work platforms and precision materials handling technologies was the end consequence of a road trip.

During their trip, John reacquainted himself with past business associates along the way. In combination with these conversations and a significant event; two workers had been unfortunately electrocuted on scaffolding when the Groves were passing through the Hoover Dam. John discovered an infinite market for a product that could promptly and securely lift individuals in the air to accomplish maintenance and other construction functions.

Following their return from holiday, John set up a business with two of his friends and purchased a metal fabricating business in McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. Starting with a small crew of twenty staff, they fashioned and sold their first JLG aerial work platform in 1970. The business incorporates many of the basic design essentials of that original lift into existing versions.

Since then, JLG Forklifts have come a great distance from when Mr. John L. Grove came back from his fatefull cross-country journey and since the first JLG aerial platform entered the marketplace. As of today, the business has extended itself into quite a few international marketplaces and continues to cultivate modern machinery to ensure that customers are able to become safer and more well-organized within their workplace.
